people like you completely ignore the pride that the BJP and the RSS have brought to the country. They have made us a nuclear power that can stand up and be mighty. people like you will keep india poor and begging - like that bastard gandhi and that communist nehru. Gujarat riots restored the pride of the hindus

I guess that this can be considered to be hate mail. This is my second hate mail. the first one happened a few weeks ago - but the chap wrote into apologise later (he was generally having a bad day).

Somehow i didn’t notice the post till now. And when i finally saw it - it was like a punch in the stomach. How can people walk around with so much of hate in them? It must be a very acidic existance.

For the record, I oppose the BJP and RSS - not because I am a “pseudo secularist liberal” but because I am a Hindu. They go against everything Hinduism stands for. If Gujarat reflects the pride of Hindus - then i am very scared - because then our way of life would be based on the massacre of innocent, unarmed civillians.

Gandhi and Nehru provided the base on which a strong India can be built. Srength is not being an oppressive, agressive nation - rather one in which people can lead their own lives without persecution or prosecution.

The VHP and its allied organizations are a bunch of fascists (and that is being polite). In the name of religion - they follow bully boy tactics. They are the modern day “rakshash” who disrupt prayers, learning, civil order and civil society. they kill those who don’t believe in their views. And they generally cause mayhem and misery in their wake.

Killing in the name of God or religion is still killing. Condoning these crimes in the name of National/Religious pride is sickening. Whether it is Muslims condoning 9-11, or Hindus condoning Ayodhya or Gujarat, or Christians condoning Iraq - there is no difference. Support of murder is as bad as being a murderer.
