Rani is now all of 9 months old – extremely naughty and very intelligent. If i shut the door of my room she can open it from outside – I kid you not. She stands like a biped, uses her fore paws as hands, presses the lever on the door and bingo she is in my room.

A few weeks ago she met two other female dogs (i hate the other word – i would rather use it on Sushma Swaraj) (on 3rd August 2012: ed. should not have said this. it was bad manners, and i apologise unreservedly for the bad manners. 0- Angel and Sparkle. Angel is a gorgeous Black Labrador, and Sparkle is a light golden retreiver. And miraculously they have become friends. Every evening, at around 6 they meet up outside our building – and prance around for half an hour. It is truly the most amazing sight on earth.Three pups – each weighing close to a ton:) – laughing, frolicking and playing. As my dad would say – truly a sight for the Gods.
