Babies with 3 Biological Parents

   Posted by: gargi   in Uncategorized

Today’s Guardian ran a very good piece on a moral quandry.

Doctors in Britain have applied for permission to carry out experiments, that will produce babies with 3 biological parents. The first is the father/sperm. The second and third are mothers/eggs. The method is for use to prevent genetic disorders passing down to the baby from the mother.

I know that it is science, and development. And I know it may bring solace to millions of parents and children. So why am I feeling so uneasy about the whole article?
