Never underestimate the Indian voter (nor assume that you have your pulse on the Indian electorate). I think it can be safely said that democracy in this country is ridiculously complex, beyond the lay- and non-layperson's comprehnesion.... Honestly, the best thing for this country would a Congress-BJP combine, as hilarious as that sounds. They are both in agreement over economic reform policies and oppose each other on most other fronts. This will mean consensus and debate on the appropriate issues....oh stop laughing , I can always daydream can't I?
