…. reads the headline.
The story reads:
I’ve nothing to say about an association that ended for me a long time ago,” says Aishwarya Rai
“I cannot comment on any of the content in the tape or the ensuing debate and discussion. The matter has been taken over by the law. Let the legal system take its course”
Speaks up usually doesn’t mean “no comment” or its equivalent.! What all journalists have to do to fill space!

humm.. “No comment”. It was funny that I saw “No comment” for your comment section too!
And for our media, if Ash moves, thats also a comment on whatever is going on, right?

hi
Charu, squared
my problem wasn’t with Ash saying no comment. she has that right. and she has maintained a fairly dignified silence on this entire matter.
my problem is a headline which says Ash speaks up. wowwwieee.
next headline could be journalist writes:)
tnx laxmikant. i can live with the nice posts too:)

Actually……I don’t even think it’s what journalists have to do to fill space….it’s what they’ve chosen to do. It’s not like nothing important is happening in the country, they just don’t think it’s as important as Ash not saying anything…..
