Birthday
October 2nd in addition to being Gandhi Jayanti is amma’s birthday.
Yesterday we had a quiet lunch at home. JD & I cooked the lunch. And we just spent some quality time together in relative companionship.
Dad and JD got her Saris’ - lovely cottons. And I got her the 
- which she has promised to read a chapter at a time. KD called up in the morning and he and R spoke in detail with mom, making her day :). Even Rani was relatively well behaved.
There wasn’t any cake, and i don’t think that any of us missed it.
All in all a good day.
