But as a doomed romantic,I would prefer Keats over Gray. "A thing of beauty is a joy for ever: Its lovliness increases; it will never Pass into nothingness; but still will keep A bower quiet for us, and a sleep Full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing." And we can also choose middle path by reciting Tennyson poem, "The old order changeth yielding place to new Lest one good custom should corrupt the world And God fulfils Himself in many ways." Personally the mortal nature of transient world makes it more beautiful.Cheers!! Gray goes on to say:
