Last month I was shooting part of a documentary in Nepal.\u00a0 In our travels we stopped by at a local tea stall. The stall doubles as a local bar at night. It was run by two ladies – who served us strong chai, with something to eat. The light in the stall was great, and i had my camera<\/p>\n

\nThis one bummed cigarettes of me and we had a great conversation on men and how they need to be dealt with like children. My cameraman & sound recordist (both nice men, fidgeted uncomfortably.<\/p>\n

She laughed and said, that someone had to look after her man and it might as well be her. Besides there are no guarantees that the next man won’t be worse<\/p>\n

\nShe offered me some Nepali local brew – it was 2 in the afternoon, terribly hot and the alcohol looked lethal. I could feel acidity flare up just looking at the damn thing. She told me that it was very good, especially on a cold night to keep warm….. The other woman pulled her leg and mine and said that there were better ways of keeping warm. all of us laughed.
