I asked her once whom does she pray to&#8230; she said i pray for that which is the maker of all, but i pray for you&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"waiting by calamur, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/gargi\/7542713502\/\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8009\/7542713502_b031d560ab.jpg?resize=500%2C375\" alt=\"waiting\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>One day i will have a series of portraits from Mumbai labelled waiting. In an over crowded city with no privacy men, sometimes women, make their own space for a brief instant in time &#8211; and usually no one bothers them.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"walking up by calamur, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/gargi\/7542673256\/\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7261\/7542673256_1ec575707b.jpg?resize=500%2C375\" alt=\"walking up\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>it is said that no one goes hungry in Mumbai. And it is possibly true. It is also said there is always honest work to be had.. and that is also true. What is not emphasised is that it is usually back breaking and soul destroying.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"rajabhai tower_1 by calamur, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/gargi\/7542639070\/\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8144\/7542639070_8323781ef8.jpg?resize=500%2C375\" alt=\"rajabhai tower_1\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\"><\/a><br \/>\nMumbai University &#8211; once the best varsity in the country.
