He points out that only the feeble minded will use faith as a crutch to deal with what happens after death. He also looks at the connection between the Hindu concpet of time &#8211; kalpa &#8211; and cosmology. Methinks that he is reading too much <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fritjof_Capra\">Fritzof Capra<\/a><\/strong>.  <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ashish.typepad.com\/ashishs_niti\/\">Ashsih <\/a><\/strong>says that we are so busy admiring what we did in the past that we are somehow stuck there, like a <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ashish.typepad.com\/ashishs_niti\/2005\/09\/is_indian_philo.html\">broken clock<\/a><\/strong>.<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/reason-blog.blogspot.com\/\">Subhas <\/a><\/strong>provides a rather <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/reason-blog.blogspot.com\/2005\/09\/condemning-atanu-deys-deprecation-of.html\">impassioned defence<\/a><\/strong> on why he has faith but is not feeble minded.<\/p>\n<p>And of course <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vulturo.com\/\">Saket <\/a><\/strong>talks about why he feels completely <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vulturo.com\/2005\/09\/atheist-arrogance\/\">&#8216;intellectually arrogant<\/a><\/strong>&#8216; in his firm faith that there is no God. Reminds of an online exchange of ideas i had with <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/indiauncut.blogspot.com\/\">Amit <\/a><\/strong>on whether atheism is a faith. of course it is \ud83d\ude42<br \/>\nNilu  has an interesting set of posts about <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/themaanga.blogspot.com\/2005\/09\/advaita-and-futility-i.html\">Advaita <\/a><\/strong>and futility.<br \/>\nSunil talks about the most cuddly of all Gods &#8211; Ganesh &#8211; and about the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/balancinglife.blogspot.com\/2005\/09\/when-obstacles-are-removed.html\">goodies <\/a><\/strong>that were made during his child hood days. Somehow, theist or atheist &#8211; when it comes to good modaks and pedas, everthing is <em>maaf<\/em>.<br \/>\nAnd finally, Hemant of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.instantkaapi.com\/\"><strong>Instant Kaapi <\/strong><\/a>says that If <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.instantkaapi.com\/archives\/001072.html\">A R Rahman turns Prophet<\/a><\/strong> for a new religion and promises to use his songs for sermons, he would be the first convert. Interesting faith that would be \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gender Issues<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/knownturf.blogspot.com\/\">Annie <\/a><\/strong>writes about <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/knownturf.blogspot.com\/2005\/09\/empathy-is-about-imagination.html\">missing women<\/a><\/strong>. Women who are never ever born.
