It has none of the splendour of a Delhi, or the old world charm of a Kolkata or Chennai, it probably is not as hep as parts of Bangalore and Pune. But, there is something about this city that is very alive and very energetic. &nbsp;Also it is a city that looks much better at night than during the day &#8211; decades of adhoc urban planning has left us, Mumbaikars, with a melange of styles and structures &#8211; most clashing with each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I tried this as an experiment. I shot the same shot, more or less, across various day parts. It was not scientific. It most likely, was not even the same exact &nbsp;frame, and, it was not automated to take pictures at regular intervals. Everytime i took a break, and remembered to bring the camera out, i shot a frame.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/Aur4k3\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/live.staticflickr.com\/5835\/22637880996_5654b55239_z.jpg?resize=640%2C434&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Mumbai - the Mill areas\" width=\"640\" height=\"434\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is how it looks during the day. Almost like the dwellings of human beings are swamped by alien structures.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/zAzktt\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/live.staticflickr.com\/683\/22051038413_d636b51f8b_z.jpg?resize=640%2C434&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Dusk approaches - mumbai\" width=\"640\" height=\"434\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is at evening, and the allure of the city beckons.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/AfS1PE\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/live.staticflickr.com\/5811\/22484319420_bc1dc962f0_z.jpg?resize=640%2C434&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Dusk approaches - mumbai 2\" width=\"640\" height=\"434\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dusk makes the city look even prettier.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/AxtsHc\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/live.staticflickr.com\/669\/22672299365_7dae799479_z.jpg?resize=640%2C434&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Dusk turns to Night\" width=\"640\" height=\"434\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And, night makes it look like the city of gold.
