I think that i am trying to catch up with 6 weeks of not blogging on one night. What to do? my fingers wont’ stop typing:)There is this almost euphoric feeling of pouring out my thoughts. Besides I blogged in my mind:))<\/p>\n

The biggest mystery since Subhash Chandra Bose’s plane disappeared is whether Yahoo groups is banned in India or not. There was this time around 8-10 weeks ago when the GoI decided to ban Yahoo groups because there was an obscure North East bunch demanding independence on it. Then, as far as I can remember, the ban was lifted. <\/p>\n

But,<\/p>\n

The funny thing is that i cannot access it through my ISP. i checked with them, and they said that all though they received the notification banning it, they didn’t receive the notification unbanning it. Now my ISP is a private guy – pacenet India. <\/p>\n

My friend’s ISP is VSNL – the GoI ISP. and he gets complete access to yahoo groups. Most of my friends cannot access Yahoo groups. And there is this major confusion on whether it is banned or not?Now when it wasn’t banned i hardly accessed the groups, maybe i did so once in a while. But now. it is almost a keeda. i had to get back in. so i broke the law. <\/p>\n

btw like all good Indians, if i find a stupid rule – i break it. I wear a seat belt, i don’t drink and drive, i pay my taxes (all of it), i dont’ use my cell while driving, i don’t bribe the cops. <\/p>\n

but the directive on yahoo groups i broke. there is a site called The Hacktivist <\/a><\/strong>that provides a proxy for Indians in India wishing to access Yahoo groups. So go ahead and click<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
