But they should give more news. Parliament forms laws to govern the state, they think about the future of India,&quot;<\/font><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"margin-left:2pt;\">&nbsp;But, within Parliament it is a different matter. An unruly bunch &#8211; especially in the opposition bunches &#8211; tries to ensure that the work of the Government (and therfore work of the people who elected the Government) does not happen. This is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dnaindia.com\/report.asp?NewsID=1154188\"><strong>Mr.Chatterjee,<\/strong><\/a> within Parliament. <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Chatterjee, who had last week admonished the law makers saying that they &ldquo;are working overtime to finish democracy&rdquo; in the country, complained on Monday that the House was becoming a place of &ldquo;tamasha&rdquo;. &ldquo;What job have you given me? I want to get rid of this job now,&rdquo; Chatterjee remarked amidst an uproar and regretted nobody was willing to listen to the Chair.<\/p>\n<p> &ldquo;It is a farce? Anyone, anytime can get up and dictate to the Chair,&rdquo; he said, adding, &ldquo;not a single member can cite any issue that I have not allowed, yet you do this.&rdquo;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"margin-left:2pt;\">&nbsp;What does the media cover? &quot;<em>Today nothing happened in Parliament, as MP&#039;s don&#039;t know how to behave<\/em>&quot; is news for a day, maybe for a week. After that it becomes kind of stale&#8230;.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:2pt;\">Maybe, like we have in colleges in Mumbai, there needs to be a minimum <strike>60%<\/strike> 75% attendance in Parliament for a MP to get a ticket again&#8230; Maybe there needs to be a method of monitoring their behavior in Parliament. If there is excessive bad behavior &#8211; shouting, throwing <em>chappals<\/em>, not heeding the Speaker, not respecting process &#8212; maybe the MP&#039;s ought to be expelled &#8211; just as students are.
