Imagine a scene in a film.
A chorus of angry voices. making demands. sounds like a political protests.
The camera tracks past a red brick building almost in search of the voices. It moves past a shaded area of the compound revealing the crowd of protestors. As the camera approaces the protestors, both the audio and the video become a lot clearer. It is apparent that the protestors are students. and the protest is the right cheat.
This would be a typical scene in a “police academy’ or airplane kind of film where nothing is sacred. And all is up of laughs.
But this is not a film, not a television series, not even a rejected script. This is real life. In our own sunny Bihar. Students have been on their annual rampage for the right to cheat in exams.
And neither the state nor the centre can do a thing about it. After all its election year. Its ok to slash the fees by a third for the IIM’s but not to clean up the education system.
Sounds like an interesting campaign. India Shining. Maharashtra Leading. Bihar Cheating.
