And why not….. after all Modi fiddled when Gujarat burnt. He spewed venom on those who couldn’t fight back.He justified genocide and ethnic cleansing in the name of religion and nationalism.

And now the blue eyed boy of the raving right is now the favourite spitoon for those who thought that the NDA would win.

It started with Uddhav Thackery saying that it was Gujarat that played a key role in the fall from grace of the BJP NDA combine. Imagine the head of the Shiv Sena – itself a fascist organisation responsible for the Mumbai riots – finding Mr.Modi’s actions a bit extreme.

Then Shahnawaz Hussein who is charitably described as a BJP “tattu” – and who kept his silence when Gujarat burned – realised the voters have a longer memory than Politicians. He too blamed Modi for the loss.

Then was Chandrababu Naidu – theformer “CEO” of Andhra Pradesh. When his party got booted out of both the assembly and the Parliament – the remains of the TDP went into a huddle. The Result– It was all because of the BJP backing Modi.

And now the Gujarat wing of the BJP finds Modi a liability – it is looking at an excuse to dump him. And one can almost see the political vultures gather.

If it had been anyone else but Modi, one would have felt sorry for him. But this man has too much blood on his hands. And while I don’t gloat at his misfortune, I definitely end up with greater faith in the laws of Karma. I wonder what he will turn up as in his next life?
