… leaves today from Srinagar in India to Muzzafarbad in Pakistan. A simple bus journey tries to bring together people separated by barbed wire. The bus service has been named Kaarwan-e-Aaman or Caravan of Peace.

A bomb went off yesterday to prevent the bus from leaving. And the bus still left. Old men and women reuniting wtih their kin, parents meeting up with their children, leaders trying to bridge the divide – all stood firm against terrorism.
I guess not even terrorism can deter ordinary people who want to live their life in peace.
