Do you ever get the feeling:
- that the walls are closing in on you?
- that everyone you know wants a chunk of you — and you want to give it — but there aren’t enough chunks to go around?
- that the path you have chosen to walk on leads somewhere else …. and you can’t figure if that is somewhere is where you want to go
Cant say I agree with (or relate to) #1 but the other two – here’re my 2 cents / pennies / paise.
– World circa 2007: Time is the biggest gift any human can give any other human (this also relates to your blog post on ‘death of a friend’). One of my observations from past relationships (and something I’m hoping to write a song around) is “.. you gave me your soul, but you couldnt give me your time”.
– I read in a traveling consultant’s blog somewhere (or maybe she was quoting from somewhere else too – cant recall now) that “the worst thing in a consultant’s life is a first-class ticket on a flight to a place you dont want to go to”. I guess the destination is at least as important as the journey, after all!!
