Am Back

Sri Lanka was good fun. We shot for 3 days at the Sarvodaya Village in Kalutara.
The shoot was exhausting. It was hot, humid and i have come back nicely browned.
there are 7 hours of footage and i have to make a 10 minute film - so editing ought to be fun :)
The Andaman leg of the filming is also done.
more on both of these in the coming days.
On the 17th, i had a free day and caught the goodies at the National Museum of Colombo.

Seven hours of footage and 10 min of film to be made? Sounds like research data that I collected out of which some 25 theses could be made and only 1 was extracted. Such is life :-)

More photos?

but that is the story of shooting for a documentary. the last time i did one i shot 20 hours of footage for a 20 minute film and my editor told me that i didn’t have enough shots.
when i launched the educational channel - a friend of mine who was a Phd frm IIT told me that it was my thesis. it was 6 years of work and put me off my formal phd :)
