To say that my average day is packed is an understatement. A hurried rush through the hours of the day that gets a lot done, but leaves the niggling sense of incompleteness. I don’t have too much time to savour the activities that i undertake. Truly relish them and enjoy them. And these are activities that i do enjoy and relish. But committments have turned them more into tasks that need to be accomplished.

So it is with complete joy that i welcome a day where i can slowly slide into activities and enjoy. Just a slightly slower pace of life. This morning is one such morning. No mad rush to get to college on time to teach. No morning meetings. Nothing. Work begins late in the afternoon. So here I am catching up with reading, and writing.
And listening to Ulhas Kashalkar sing Raga Lalit – slowly exploring the parameters of the raga. It is 9.19 on a weekday morning – not quite the dawn recommended for the playing of the Raag – and such indulgence seems terribly sinful:)
