My life continues to move with all the twists and turns of a bad soap.
A week ago I was contemplating taking it easy for a few days. It seemed very likely that we would only shoot at the end of the month – the second schedule of Power Trip.
There is a complete breakdown in communication between the Producers and the talent – and we are piggy in the middle. The research (or the editorial consultant – to give her programme credit) had told me that since the producer had not paid for her work for the 1st schedule – she won’t do any research. So Cogito TV very smartly decided to call off the shoot.
And on the last day of October – the anchor informs us that the guests had been lined up – and that she can no way call it off. We put to gether a schedule with three days notice and so little money – that thinking about it makes me shudder.
And of course, we didn’t have the research. I personally have not undertaken so much research on industries since university days.
But the guest list was fab:
There was : Kumara Mangalam Birla, Imran Khan, Sajjan Jindal, Kiran Shaw Mazumdar, Capt. Nair, Vikram Kirloskar, Gulu Mirchandani, and Praful Patel.
